One day, three of Their dear friends came to them with a request. “Not far from here is a forest named Talavana where a terrible demon lives in the shape of an ass,” one said. Another said, “No one dares to go there for fear of being killed, and even the animals and birds have left.” The third said, “There are many tala palms there, with delicious fruits on them. We are very hungry. Please let us go there, and you can kill this demon so that we can eat those fruits.”
