The battle raged on, and Rama and Lakshman were injured so badly by special arrows that it was judged that only a certain herb from a mountain in the Himalayas could save them.

Hanuman again leaped high into the air and flew to the Himalayas, but when he arrived at the mountain he found that the mountain did not reveal to him the particular herb that was needed. So he picked up the whole mountain and carried it back with him to the battlefield, where experts could find the herb and treat Rama and Lakshman and in fact the whole monkey army.
